The Framatome Professional School preserves the high level competence on nuclear technology in Germany and provides an excellent education program. The combination of sound scientific teaching and practical industrial experience presents optimal prerequisites for cutting-edge research.

Two-year graduate education program
thesis projects at the institutes of the KIT related to
• pressurized water reactors
• boiling water reactors
• innovative light water reactors
in combination with training courses in reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, material science and stress analysis, reactor design, safety technology … and many more


Doctorate projects
research in the field of light water reactors at KIT
duration: 3 years
prerequisites:
• diploma or master issued by a German university or an equivalent international graduation
• grade of 2,0 (good) or better

 

KIT- and Framatome-employees/PhD students are entitled to attend the training courses of the Framatome Professional School free of charge.
Grants for two-year graduate education program and doctorates are provided by the Framatome GmbH.
